Roseville #90 on top CNN places to live and Rose Parade

Good times!

Roseville was named #90 on the top 100 cities places to live by CNN for 2008.
See it here: http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bplive/2008/snapshots/PL0662938.html

And if you haven't heard or maybe have forgotten ...

Roseville, CA is actually in the Rose Parade tomorrow in honor of it's Centennial.

Way to go Roseville!

Oh and Steve wants to me to mention this too in light of mentioning the Rose Parade, we MUST mention the Rose BOWL ... Go Trojans. Yes he went to USC. If you would like to have Steve call you and sing the USC fight song song or perhaps our daughters that he has brain washed, let us know. I went to Chico, we only have drinking fight songs. Teasin. We are much more mellow and of course, since my freshman year in 1993-94, no football at Chico (sigh).

Fight on USC. I will give Steve this tiny bit. :-D

Oh and if you are feeling nostalgic and want to know MORE about the history of Roseville, nerd-on-up over here: http://www.roseville.ca.us/visit_roseville/history_of_roseville/pre_1850.asp and see why we have the Roseville being represented by a train. BUT if you live here you ALREADY know why ... unless you are one of those folks in the far points of the city (West or Northeast) that may not encounter the trains too often. Plus find out some of the folks behind the street names.

Take year and we wish you a healthy, prosperous and safe 2009!
